Chauffeur in court trouble

A chauffeur who used to chauffeur for Heather Mills is in court this week after he was caught using a photocopy of the 43 year old celebrity’s disabled parking badge on a recent shopping trip. The 65 year old chauffeur Stewart Simonson claimed he had photocopied the blue badge belonging to Heather Mills with her knowledge as she often forgot to carry the parking badge around with her so he made a copy due to reasons, and so they didn’t forget the badge with them. However on the day in question Mr Simonson had taken the blue badge which didn’t belong to him and put it on his own car while parked on a yellow line. The traffic warden assessed the badge and revealed that the image on the back was of someone famous who he noticed Heather Mills the wife of the former Beetle Sir Paul McCartney.

The chauffeur then admitted to holding the blue badge and that in fact it wasn’t his and the original was held by Heather Mills. Ms Mills is now eligible to hold the badge after an accident in 1993; however there was no indication that Heather knew the driver was using her chauffeur photocopy of the blue badge so she had no part in the crime.The 65 year old driver revealed he was suffering with a disease for over 6 months now and has in fact applied for his own blue badge due to his current condition.
