Winner of Lamborghini Crashes

An American man who was over the moon after winning a £240,000 Lamborghini sports car has been left devastated after he collected the vehicle for winning a competition. The bright green sports car which is the LP640 roadster was one of one only 4,099 made in the world and was a prize which was run by the local convenience store in Utah in conjunction with the charity. The charity team give gave the car away to raise money for children with very rare conditions. The competition ran for over 18 months and when the competition was finally over the winner was announced which was David Dopp.

He was then the proud owner of the Lamborghini and couldn’t believe his luck, the joy however was only short lived as after just 6 hours of owning the car he went and crashed the vehicle. It was David Dopp’s dream car and to own such a vehicle. He claimed he was only giving his family and friends a ride around in the car which has a staggering top speed of 205mph and a 6.2 litre V12 engine to back it up. Dopp was driving the vehicle at 50mph even though he was in a 35mph limit zone. Police have said the driver was not drinking and had not taking drugs in any shape or form. The Lamborghini is now set for repair work and has not been declared a write off where the bill will be sent to Mr Dopp which shall be calculated for him.
